That darn tooth fairy did it again. I swear every time a child loses a tooth in my house she forgets to come and take the tooth and leave the money. What a brat! What is her deal, is she like freakin' busy or something? Is she way to tired to get up like 5 minutes before the kids wake up and make that secret appearance. I guess I will give her the benefit of the doubt and forgive her this time. Luckily she made it up to me this last time she screwed up. Isabelle had finally lost her other front tooth and when she woke up she noticed the tooth still nestled under her pillow, (luckily Isabelle had put it inside 2 different bag contraptions, so she wasn't quite sure that it was even still there.) The tooth fairy had cleverly taken the tooth out w/o Isabelle noticing and left the room to use the potty and she brought back 6 quarters to slyly place under a different pillow on the bed. Without Isabelle even noticing. You covered your butt this time, Tooth Fairy, but don't let it happen again. I still have 2 kids left to lose teeth.
See! She's sleeping on the job in this picture!

Oh my...this is all too familiar at my house! My oldest finally started leaving notes, asking why it was taking the tooth fairy so long! How heartbreaking is that? The good news? Now...the oldest child is the tooth fairy's special helper...and there is no way she's going to forget. All problems solved....thank heaven!
Hilarious! There must be way too many kids on our neighborhood. I do think she is very very busy! Love ya!
Payton lost a tooth last night. I totally forgot. This morning he ran down and told me the tooth fairy came. She brought him a IOU a trip to the ice cream shop. Apparently the silly fairy was short of change. Thank heavens for husbands! I wonder what Payton will think when it is his dad not the tooth fairy that takes him out.
AMEN Sista!!! There have been many of mornings that the tooth fairy has forgot to do her job! Thank goodness for naive kids that step away for a minute. I was so glad to hear someone else had a slacker toothfairy problem!
The tooth fairy has done that at our house too - what's up with her? :)
maybe she got laid-off?
We haven't had any dealings with the tooth fairy at our house, but Santa can be quite the slacker. He left a bag of toys just lying on my bedroom floor last December. So, I totally know how frustrating they can be, wink, wink!
Ha Ha Ha! The Tooth Fairy needs a talking too. Because she missed my house to when Karston lost his tooth! We were all so upset!
Lets go visiting and I will bring cookies! I will call and make appointments today!:)
6 quarters? I'd be yanking a new tooth out every day for that kind of $!
